Baga Beach in Goa looks as if it has come straight
out of a painting...Majestic white waves rushing to wipe out the feet imprints
left by you on the white sand while the wind continues to flirt with the palm
trees.
It's a long sandy beach packed with lively shacks,
resorts and fishing boats.
Goa's Baga beach is a small but perfect beach
located between its two more famous cousins, Anjuna on one side and Calangute
on the other. It is a good place to enjoy some quite moments and dwell in
peaceful contemplation with oneself.
Café Tito and Cafe Mambo have achieved iconic status
and among the most important things to do suggested by tour guides.
The Baga beach is more of a fishing beach with the
tourists from across the world trying to get that big catch.
Nightlife is very vibrant at Baga Beach. The sight
of shops on the white sandy beach lit with lamps, milling crowd and live bands,
all add up to the carnival like ambience. By day, the beach is a paradise for
tourists who wish to soak in some sun and the sand. Apart from the scenic
pleasures, Baga Beach offers lots of activities for the tourists, to indulge
in.
Dolphin spotting and island trips are other options
you could try during your stay in Baga.
One of the favorite beach in bardez side and a
tourist attraction. This beach is famous for having salty bath for many people
in Goa over the year, as this river has heavy waves among all the other
beaches.
It is home to some of the biggest hot-spots by night
in Goa. If you want to take a peek into Indian classical music and dance,
attend one of the concerts held regularly at Kerkar Art Complex. The concerts
are held on Thursdays and Fridays.
